Charles Nemec
Charles Nemec, husband of Louise (Heuberger) Nemec 36 Hodges Avenue, died last night after a short illness.
Born in Germany, the son of the late Frank and Christine Nemec, he lived in Taunton for forty years. He was employed for forty-five years by the New Haven Railroad. For the last twenty years he was a conductor.
He attended Winthrop Street Baptist Church and was a member of the King David Lodge, AF&M, and the brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen.
He leaves his widow, one son, Carlton A Nemec of Putnam, Connecticut, a daughter, Luella Kay of Taunton; two brothers, William Nemec of New Bedford and Frank Nemec of San Francisco; two sisters: Mrs Elizabeth Norwall and Mrs Margaret Gustafson, both of San Francisco and four grandchildren.
