The funeral home will be open for visitation and showing of a video history from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1. The video of her life also will be played 30 minutes prior to the service.
Private interment is planned at Belcrest Memorial Park in Salem.
Mrs. Burroughs died Tuesday, Sept. 27, in Rock of Ages Mennonite Home in McMinnville. She was 97.
Born Oct. 4, 1907, in Brookfield, Mo., she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Baker.
She married Earnest Burroughs on May 25, 1925, in Brookfield.
She moved to Oregon in 1942 and worked in the Portland shipyards during World War II. She lived in Salem until 1956, then moved to Willamina. She relocated to McMinnville in recent years.
Mrs. Burroughs was a member of the Willamina Free Methodist Church. She loved gardening and yard work. She was an accomplished pianist and displayed a passion for quilting, her family said.
Survivors include a daughter, Jean Abbott of Willamina; two brothers, Dale Baker of Riverside, Calif., and Francis Baker of Arlington, Texas; five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
