Mrs. Frank McCourt passed away early Tuesday afternoon in Mercy Hospital, Bay City. Mrs. McCourt was rushed there on Monday, for an emergency operation, but passed away quite suddenly.
Allie Swindlehurst was born in Harrisville Township, on March 21, 1892. She was united in marriage to Frank McCourt at Harrisville on July 10, 1911, and had spent her entire life in Alcona County.
She is survived by her husband, three sisters; Mrs. Lillian VanWagoner, of Harrisville, Mrs. Sarah Martreau of Alpena, and Mrs. Mae Johnson, of Port Huron. One brother, Russell Swindlehurst, of Harrisville.
Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock from the home. Rev. C. S Brown officiated. Burial was made in Springport Cemetery. Acting as pallbearers were: Roy Elliott, George Leonard, Roy Kearley, Forrest Denoon, Otto Klein.
