Martha Lucille Clary

Martha Lucille Clary, 84, of Edina, died Sunday morning, August 18, 1991, in the Knox County Nursing Home at Edina.
Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 21, 1991, at the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Chapel in Edina. The Rev. Robert Stephens of Edina officiated the service. Music was provided by Karen Stone, soloist. Burial was in the Linville Cemetery at Edina.
Born December 31, 1906, in Knox County, she was the daughter of Walter and Mary V. Carlisle Shubert, Sr.
On December 22, 1922, in Edina, she married Ralph Dewey Clary, and he preceded her in death on July 8, 1980.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Lester (Mary Ruth) Schrage and Mrs. Joe (Lola M.) Snelling, both of Edina; one son, Denver Clary of Hurdland; twenty-one grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren and a few great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Buster Shubert and Walter Shubert, Jr. on May 29, 1963, and a daughter, Helen Jones on Feb. 24, 1991.
Mrs. Clary was a life-long resident of Knox County, where she was reared and received her education. She and her husband were engaged in farming northeast of Edina.
Mrs. Clary was a member of the Edina Assembly of God Church.
Casket bearers were Don Woodward, Jack Vaughn, Bill Shubert, Ernie Schrage, Timmy Schrage and Steve Snelling.
