Mrs. Jane Fenters Player, 84, widow of Richard W. Player of Pawley's Island, died at home at 3:15 p.m. Tuesday. She had been ill for some time.

Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Mayer Funeral Home at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday by the Rev. R. F. Frazer, pastor of Pawley's Island Presbyterian Church.

Burial will be in Jacksonville, Fla., at 1 p.m. Thursday in Edgewood Cemetery.

2: Her first husband was Joe Madison Player.

4: Jane was survived by sons Daniel Christoper Player of Pawleys Island, SC, Richard O. Player of Virginia, and Carl W. Player of Florida.

All but one of Jane's children were by "Joe Madison" Player, who died in January 1906. Carl Wyman Player was born in 1918 and was a son of Richard W. Player.
