Tulon Peters
Badwin - Tulon Leerue Peters, 87, died Friday, Jan. 12, 2007 at the North Mississippi Medical Center. He was born April 17, 1919. He was selected as Prentiss County Wildlife Conservationist of the year. He was a retired factory worker and farmer. He was a member of the Baldwin First Baptist Church. He enjoyed raising vegetables and yodeling. He was a beloved husband, father and grandfather.

Services will be at 2 p.m.today at Waters Funeral Home with Dr. Terry Cutrer and Bro Stanley Huddleston officiating. Burial will be at the Peters Family Cemetery.

Survivors enclude his wife of 70 years, Kathyn Peters of Baldwin; three daughters, Charlene Gilliland of Baldwin, Caroly Jones(Ben) of Baldwin and Nancy Farrar (Vic) of Marietta; three sons, Paul Peters(Lois) of Gibsonville, N.C., Kary Peters of Baldwin and Scotty Peters (Jeannine) of Tupelo; one brother Orvil Peters of Baldwin; 11 grandchildren , nine great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Annie Peters; three sisters, Chestine Christain, Vera Towery and Eva Blassingame; and two brothers, John and Charlie Peters.

Pallbearers will be Douglas Kitchens, Mitchell Hood, Jason Peters, Marty Gilliland, Jeff Peters, Paul Ray Peters and Cody Farrar.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Bill Brasel, Conner Moore, Brady McCoy, Colby Peters, Justin Peters, Kyle Peters, Lawson Peters and members of his Sunday school class.

Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Baldwin.
