Found in The State 13 September 1959: Mrs. Daisy G. Taylor, 67, widow of John B. Taylor of 1155 Olympia Avenue, died Saturday morning in the Baptist Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 this afternoon from St. Luke's Lutheran Church, conducted by the Rev. Lloyd Hellams. Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Mrs. Taylor was born in Greeleyville, the daughter of the late Gadberry and Henrietta Browder. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons, the Rev. John Ed Taylor of the Baptist Home Mission Board, Atlanta, Ga., and Mack Nelson Taylor of Columbia; a brother, J. N. Browder; her step-mother, Mrs. Neeley Garrick; five half-sisters, Mrs. John Locklair, Mrs. T. M. Vining, Mrs. N. L. Skipper, Mrs. Willie Hodge, and Mrs. Thomas Moore; four half-brothers, George Browder, Henry Browder, Willie Browder, and the Rev. Leland Browder; also six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
