BLACKINTON, ISORA 'GERT' (PICKERING), 96, of Riverside died Saturday at Miriam Hospital.
She was the wife of the late Russell P. Blackinton.
Born in Burrillville she was the daughter of the late Wilson A. and Etta G. (Walling) Pickering, and the last of eight siblings.
Gert was a secretary at the Providence Gas Company for many years before retiring in 1977.
She was a past Matron for the Eastern Star Chepachet Chapter, former secretary of the Barrington Womans Club, and enjoyed bowling in many leagues.
She is survived by her daughter, three grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
