Russell P. Blackinton, 76, of 57 Armington Ave., owner of the L.H. Burlingame Feed and Grain Store for 29 years before retiring in 1981, died yesterday at Miriam Hospital.
He was the husband of Isora (Pickering) Blackinton.
Born in Plainfield, N.J., a son of the late Russell and Esther (Snow) Blackinton, he lived in East Providence for 37 years.
Mr. Blackinton was a past master of Friendship Lodge 7, AF & AM, Glocester, and a member of the East Providence Rotary Club.
Besides his wife he is survived by a daughter, a sister, three grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
