Mary E. Arnold died November 7, 2003. Mary Emily Arnold was born May 6, 1918 in Nursery to Peter and Selma Boehm Forster She married James K. Arnold in 1938 and they were blessed with six children.

She was a homemaker and a wonderful seamstress. Mary and James were the owners of K.N. Drive-In from 1960 to 1980. She was a very loving and devoted mother and wife. Mary stayed active throughout her life, always putting others first.

She was preceded in death by husband, James K. Arnold; son, Ken Arnold; granddaughters, De De Koenig, Kathleen Kacir, and Avery Apodackis; parents; and brother, Peter Forster Jr.

Mary and James have left behind a loving family, Dorothy and Don Koenig, Anna and Mike Frers, Mary Beth Arnold and Terry Stock, Susie and Jerry Dreyer, Chrissie and Kenneth West; 18 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and four sisters, Olga Pruitt, Agnes Forster, Edith Gilmore, and Ella May Barber.

She was be missed by many and remembered by all who knew her. May we all follow in her footsteps and make James and Mary proud. A rosary was recited Sunday, Nov. 9 at Freund Funeral Home. Funeral Mass was Monday at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Rev. Kirby Hlavaty officiated.

Burial was at Hillside Cemetery. Freund Funeral Home, Cuero 361-275-2343.

Pallbearers: Jimmy Koenig, Johnny Koenig, Chad Frers, Tracy Fox, Matt Fox, Jeromy West, Jared West, Donna Hoffman, Mickey DeDear, Nikki Apodackis, Summer Self, Kristen Stock, Taryn Marriott, Courtney Kacir, Kelly Arnold, and Jennifer West.
