Edith was born September 2, 1918 in Crowell to James Frank Lavender and Minnie Mae Moore Lavender.She and Keith Merrell Wilson were married June 29, 1935 in Frederick, Oklahoma.
She worked in home health care and then was a Nanny for many years.she was a member of the Church of Christ all of her life where she taught Bible classes for thirty-eight years. She also was a forty year member of the card ministry and nine years on the bus ministry.
She was preceded in death by her husband Keith on May 23, 1993. She is also preceded in death by sons, Donald Gene and Stephen Terrill Wilson.
She is survived by daughter, Glenda Lorene Reis of Austin; sons, Harrold "Wayne" Wilson and wife, Pat of Jay,Florida, Ronald Keith "Ron" Wilson of Electra and Danny "Mark" Wilson of Granbury; sister, Helen Talbert of Dallas; brother, Gene Lavender of Iowa, nine grandchildren; twenty-seven great-grandchildren and fifteen great-great-grandchildren.
