Cybella E. Stone, 93, of 307 N. Franks Ave., Sturgis, Mich., formerly of South Bend, Ind., died Jan. 6, 1997, at Thurston Woods Village, Sturgis.
She was born Oct. 15, 1903, in Brook, Ind., a daughter of John and Clara (Weishaar) Lebold. On April 29, 1927, in Chicago, Ill., she married Clarence L. Stone. He preceded her in death on April 12, 1942. She was employed as a receptionist at the Mar-Main Arms Apartments in South Bend. She moved to Sturgis in 1988, coming from South Bend, was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church, and enjoyed working on crossword puzzles. She is survived by nieces and nephews, among whom are Robert Probst of Sturgis and Janet Weltman of Euclid, Ohio. She was also preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Rosetta Singler.
