Services to celebrate the life of Atri “Bid” Dildy, 92, are scheduled for 1:00 PM Monday at Memorial Funeral Home with burial to follow in Pleasant Hill United Methodist Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday evening from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home.
Mrs. Dildy died on August 8, 2019 at Mississippi Care Center. She was born on March 1, 1927 in Alcorn County to the late Leland and Bertha Elam James. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her daughter, Tammy Barnes (Terry); sons, Bennie Ray Dildy (Darnell) and Tony Delane Dildy (Helen); grandchildren, Meechie Pullin (Tom), Lee Barnes (Brandy), Tiffany Barnes (Steve), Tonya Fish (Jacob), Sonya Butler (Danny), Jeremy Dildy (Deanna), Regina Dildy (Tim), Adrian Dildy (Linda), Dewayne Dildy (Brandy), David Dildy (Faye); several great-grandchildren; sisters Doris Austin (Danell), Emma Jo Hudson (Sanford) and a daughter-in-law; Barbara Boren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years. HB Dildy, daughter, Karen Dildy; sons, Tommy Wade Dildy and Jerry Wayne Dildy; brothers, Marvin James, Ernest James, Arlon James, David James; sisters, Zula Mask, Dorothy Glidewell, Lettie Vee Switcher, Ruth Beasley, Ann James; and step-mother, Virdie Mae James.
