He was born November 20, 1942 to late James Hilliard and Minnie Mae Newman Holley.
He was a retired truck driver for over fifty years that had logged more than a million miles. He took a tremendous amount of pride in his work.
He was a member of Enon Missionary Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by a brother, Delbert Holley, and two sisters, Wilma Rippy and Lois Calvert.
Survivors include his wife, Pat Henderson Holley of Rye; one son, Joey Wayne Holley and wife, Robin of Woodlawn; one daughter, Dewana Runion of Rye; two brothers, Sam Holley of Rye and Bill Holley of OK; one sister, Mary Jane Ashcraft of Rye; five grandchildren, Justin, Benjiman and Gabrielle Wright and Dusty and Jodi Holley; and five great-grandchildren, Michael, Jailyn and Allden Wright, and Ethan and Addison Oliver.
