Jewel Louise Watson, age 86, of Boone, died September 21, 2013, at Blowing Rock Hospital.
She is survived by two brothers, Linney Watson of Wilberton, Oklahoma and David Watson and friend Angie Greene of Boone.
She was preceded in death by an infant son, her father and mother, General Dixon Watson and Annie Greene Watson, two sisters, Ruby Watson and Ethel Thomas, and four brothers, Arnold, Russeau, Ottis, and Arthel L. "Doc" Watson.
Funeral services were held at Hampton Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Reverend Sherrell Welborn. Burial in the Watson Family Cemetery.
