William Dee McCarty, Leighton, 82, died Wednesday at 9:45 p.m. at Colbert Hospital.
Funeral services will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. from Leighton Baptist Church with Rev. Tom Whatley officiating. Burial will follow in Tuscumbia Oakwood Cemetery.
Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Rebecca Kumpe McCarty; three sisters, Mrs. Henry Jackson, Danville, Mrs. Minnie McKelvey, Moulton, and Mrs. Maggie Drane, Moulton; two brothers, W.R. McCarty and J.L. McCarty, both of Moulton.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
The body will remain at the residence until time to be taken to the church for funeral services.
Morrison-Elkins Funeral Home of Tuscumbia is directing.
