The funeral services of the late Mrs. Andrew Cochran, of Brookston, were held at the Baptist church in the city last Saturday afternoon, Rev. Addison Parker officiating. Interment in the IOOF cemetery. Mrs. Cochran's maiden name was Martha Baum, she being a daughter of the late, David Baum. She was born in this county March 1st, 1835, and has always resided here until nine years ago, when she married Capt. Andrew Cochran, of Brookston. She had been sick but a few days with diabetes and her death occurred last Thursday night. She was a noble, christian woman and leaves a wide circle of friends. Surviving her is her husband and sister and two brothers - Mrs. A.B. Martin, George and John L. Baum.
