Lynn Ray Couch, 73, of Burley, Idaho, passed away September 16, 2013.
He was born in Garland, Utah, to George W. and Melba C. Couch on November 11, 1939. He was the 6th of 14 family members.
He was drafted into the Army and spent a tour in Vietnam. He worked In the hay hauling profession for Bill and Shirley Cooper and Boyd VanLeuven for many years, then onto truck driving for Circle A Trucking until his retirement.
Lynn was blessed with a daughter, Debbie Harris; one granddaughter, Lisa; one grandson, Chris; and four great-grandchildren, all who survive him. He is also survived by Sherman (Dee) Couch, of Heyburn, ID, Sue (MJ) Couch, of Virginia Beach, VA, Carol (Dave) Clark of Phoenix, AZ, Paul (Karen) Couch, of Paul, ID, Patty Couch, of Fort Mohave, AZ, David (LesLee) Couch, of Prescott Valley, AZ, Jayne Payne, of Las Vegas, NV, Jerry (Nancy) Couch, of Woodscross, UT, Sharon Hobbs, of Paul, ID, and Keith (Sally) Couch, of Burley, ID.
He was preceded in death by both his parents, George and Melba Couch; brother, Farrell Couch, of Missoula, MT, sister, Doris and brother-in-law, Gene Bragg, of Deming, NM; brother, Myrl Lee Couch, of Virginia Beach, VA; brother-in-law, Buddy Hobbs, of Paul, ID; and his youngest brother, Michael Couch, of Paul, ID.
Lynn was a loveable, hard working man who will be missed by all who knew him. He loved dancing, country music, and his guitar, and was known to be caught singing Johnny Cash songs from time to time in various locations.
There will be a graveside service on Saturday, September 28, 2013 , at 11:00 a.m. at the Paul Cemetery, Paul, Idaho, with Military Rites provided by the Mini-Cassia Veterans.
Services and cremation arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home & Crematory of Rupert, Idaho.
