Woods
ARCOLA -- Ernest Morton Woods, 55, of Phoenix, Ariz., formerly of Arcola, died Sunday (Feb. 12, 1984) in Veterans Administration Hospital, Phoenix.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Shrader Funeral Home, Arcola, with visitation 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Arcola Cemetery.
Mr. Woods was born in Longview, son of Everett and Velora Pruitt Woods. He was a cement finisher, a member of First Southern Baptist Church, Phoenix and a Navy veteran.
Surviving are his son, Mike of Tuscola; father of Oblong; mother of Charleston; brother, Donald of Charleston; sister, Helen Abbey of California; two grandchildren.
One brother preceded him in death.
