CHARLESTON -- Velora "Nonnie" Woods, 84, of Charleston died 11:55 p.m. Monday (Feb. 19, 1990) in Cambridge Court Nursing Home, Charleston.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Caudill-King Funeral Home, Charleston, with visitation 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Arcola Cemetery.
Mrs. Woods was born in Newton, daughter of Leslie and Josie Pruet. She was the former owner of Three Sisters Tavern in Charleston.
Surviving are her son, Donald of Charleston; daughter, Helen Abbey of Inglewood, Calif.; sister, Marjorie Myers of Tolono; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
Two sons, three sisters and one grandchild preceded her in death.
