Ila Mae Jacob, our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 3, 1999 in Sandy, Utah.

Born August 16, 1936 to Samuel and Mae Fowers Barton in Panguitch, Utah.

She married Douglas Jacob on May 27, 1961.

Ila loved quilting, gardening, and her grandchildren who were the love of her life. She will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

Ila will be greatly missed by her husband, Douglas; daughters, Dawn (Dean) Maltsberger, Lisa (David) Ball, and Judy (Peter) Downs; grandchildren, Patrick, Jennifer, Ashlee, Kaylee, and Brody; sisters, Norma Pringle and Merle Ramey; and brothers, John, Roy, Jim, and Keith. Preceded in death by a brother, Grant.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 7, 1999 at 11:00 a.m. in the Goff Mortuary Chapel, 8090 South State Street (100 East), where friends may call on Tuesday, July 6, 1999 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. and Wednesday one hour prior to the services.
Interment: Larkin Sunset Gardens.
