We have had a rare case of measles close by this place, J. P. Lewis' family all down with measles at same time. Mrs. Lewis was buried last Friday Aug. 5th. Two of the children came very near dying; are all getting well now. The children are going to be put out to good familys one or two in a place, to be raised, if places of that kind can be found; seven children, four boys and three girls. R. H. Crowder has taken one child two years of age (Rilla), the youngest. R. W. Warren has taken the oldest girl, 12 years of age (Ida Mae); four boys and one girl left yet. They are good children, any one wanting a child to raise had better call at Tenino soon.
