Miss Mary Titzel, age 52 years, died at her home in Sandwich yesterday morning, February 26, after several weeks of poor health. Early this week she suffered a stroke, death coming soon afterward.
Miss Titzel, was born at Port Royal, Pa., on May 27, 1884. She was the daughter of Katherine and Peter Titzel. About 35 years ago the family moved to Sandwich, where Miss Titzel has since made her home.
One sister, Mrs. Gertrude Paden and two brothers, Charles and Roy Titzel, all of Sandwich, survive.
The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock from the Titzel home on North Lafayette Street. The Reverend Liston of the Sandwich Methodist Episcopal church to have charge. Burial will be in Oak Ridge cemetery.
