Allen D. Bailey, 85, of rural Floris died at 12:13 a.m.Saturday March 11, 2006 at Van Buren County Hospital, Keosauqua. He was born Feb. 17, 1921 to Virgil and Ruth Boyce Bailey. He was a millwright and worked in heavy construction and served in the U. S. Navy 1940-1948.
Surviving are a daughter, Sharon a son, Bruce; three granddaughters, two great-grandsons. He was preceded in death by his parents, five sisters, Dorothy Sneddon, Mary Ellis, Virgilene Kammerer. Betty Foor and Nancy Bailey and a brother, Robert Bailey.

He was preceded in death by his parents, five sisters, Dorothy Sneddon, Mary Ellis, Virgilene Kammerer, Betty Foor and Nancy Bailey and a brother, Robert Bailey.
