Mrs. Josie Pack, 87 years old, of Indianapolis, Indiana, died Monday, May 26, 1969 in an Indianapolis hospital. She was the widow of the late Judson Pack. Both Mr. and Mrs. Pack were reared in Meade County, Kentucky.

Mrs. Pack was the last surviving member of the family of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Fowler. Her youngest brother, Mr. Richard (Dee) Fowler passed away just a week before Mrs. Pack's death. Mrs. Pack had a number of relatives and friends in Meade County, having lived here for many years after her marriage to Mr. Pack, before they moved to Indianapolis. As long as her health permitted, she enjoyed coming back to Meade County to visit.

She is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Bertha Popplewell, Mrs. Madeline Austin, Mrs. Ruth Lex, Mrs. Frances Bruhn, and Mrs. Gertrude North; 18 grandchildren, 56 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held in Indianapolis, Indiana. Burial was in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood, Johnson County, Indiana. Section Four, Garden Of The Nativity, Lot Marker 109.

A niece, Mrs. Modie Cain, accompanied Miss Sadie Fowler, Miss Susie Fowler, Mrs. Inez Ellis and other relatives from Louisville to the funeral.
