Aunt Idelle was warm and loving. She was the youngest of 8 children with my great grandmother, Abbalene Amanda Erway being the eldest. I never knew her first husband (to my knowledge) but did visit in her home she shared with Charles M. Alexander.
Her parents were:
Mark Reed Erway, son of Albert Hartsford Erway and Abigail Jane Phillips
and
Marie Eleanor Smith, daughter of Mary Ann Sheehy and Robert C. Smith (Note: she never met her father as he died the week before returning from the cattle market. Mary Ann then married Cornelius Werner Dailey in 1862. She never knew of her birth father until perhaps shortly before her own death in 1946
