At her home on Rexford street Sunday morning occurred the death of Mary Norman Waite, wife of Charles F. Waite, aged 57 years. Death followed an illness of about one week. The funeral arrangements have not been completed. Deceased was born in Brooklyn, August 11, 1855, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John T. Norman. She was united in marriage at Minneapolis, December 13, 1878, to Charles F. Waite, who still survives her. Mrs. Waite has been a resident of Norwich for about 28 years and her friends learn of her death with extreme regret. Besides her husband, deceased is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Robert O. Lewis, of Norwich, Mrs. Ira W. Thomas, of Boston, Mrs. Sarah L. Waite of Norwich; also two sons, Charles N. Waite and Alfred P. Waite of Norwich. [Newspaper Obit]
