Lamarr E. "Pete" Keyse, 74, of 1221 Lake Ave., Plymouth, Indiana passed away Saturday, July 1, 2006 at 10:42 p.m. i Saint Joseph Regional Mediacal Center, Plymouth.
Lamarr was born on February 28, 1932, in Lilnkville, Indiana to Oliver and Martha (Baker) Keyser.
He served in the Army for eight years, then joined the Air Force and served four years. He retired from the Air Force, moved back to Plymouth in July 1975 and worked for Bomarko for 11 years. He was a meber of the Plymouth V.F.W. Post #1162.
Pete is survived by his wife, Shirley; their daughter,Linda Weedling of Normal, Illinois; their grandchildren, Jason and Stephanie McCarty of LaPorte, Indiana; Renee (Tami) McCarty of Bloomingto, Illinois; Beth McCarty Nie Weedling, and Crystal Weedling, all of Normal, Illinois; seven great-grandchildren; and his sister, Betty Worsham of Tippecanoe, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his parents, and four sisters, and three brothers.
The funeral service for Lamarr will be held on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. in the Van Gilder Funeral Home, Plymouth, with the Rev. Charles Kreig officiating. Burial will be at Fair Cemetery, North Liberty, Indiana.
Plymouth VFW Post #1162 will conduct military graveside rites. Familly and friends are invited to visit with Petes family on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Van Gilder Funeral Home, 300 West Madison Street, Plymouth, IN 46563. At the request of the family, memorail contributions may be made to the Marshall County Cancer Association, P.O. Box 895, Plymouth, Indiana 46563.
