Matthew Williams died yesterday morning at the residence of his son, Charles W. Williams, on Third Street, at the age of seventy-two years.
Last fall Mr. Williams had two ribs broken by a runaway accident in Asotin County and had not fully recovered from the injuries when he was taken with heart trouble.
The remains will be taken to Beeman this morning and interred beside his wife, who did last spring.
A son and three daughters reside in the vicinity of Beeman.
