Trigger was a retired police chief for the city of Walled Lake where he served for 34 years. He got is nickname wile, a a young officer, he was in pursuit of a suspect and he accidently squeezed the trigger of his sidearm and the gun discharged. From that day on , his fellow officers and family nicknamed him "Trigger" He was a charter member of the Walled Lake Missionary Church, a Sunday School teacher, a Deacon and a Representative of the church General Conference. He served as head of security of Brown City Missionary Church Camp for many years. Prior to becoming a police officer, Trigger was a Railroad Engineer for Detroit Diesel and was a two year Navy veteran
