F. L. (Les) Orndoff, 92, 702 E. 6th, Ellensburg, died Thursday at Kittitas Valley Community Hospital. He was born June 25, 1887, at Alda, Nebraska and moved to Seattle as a child with his parents.
They moved to the Kittitas Valley in 1894 and farmed in the Thorp area. Orndoff was a veteran of World War I. He married Mabel Wylie, June 3, 1922, at Yakima. She died April 6, 1973.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Bill (Kay) Engel, Ellensburg; four grandchildren; one brother, Fred Orndoff, Leavenworth, and one sister, Mrs. Lillie Gates, Camas. He was preceded in death by a sister, Irene Ellsworth in 1974.
Funeral services will be Saturday, 2 p.m. at High Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The Rev. Dick Borrrud will officiate.
