Mrs. Armstrong died Saturday morning at 1:10 o'clock at her home in Spencerville, Route No. 1, of myocarditis. She had been in poor health for two years. She was born on Sept. 13, 1859, in Jackson township, DeKalb county, and lived in DeKalb county all her life. For 31 years she lived in Richland township. She was married on July 9, 1882 in Auburn to William Armstrong.
She is survived by her husband; three children, George E. Armstrong of Topeka, Kansas, William F. Armstrong of Fort Wayne and Mrs. Ann Coak of Spencerville, R.1; four half-brothers Ben Bailey of West Twentieth street, Auburn, John Bailey in Michigan, Milton Bailey in South Dakota and Curt Bailey in Ohio; one step-sister, Mrs. Debbie Husselman of 1320 South Jackson street, Auburn; 10 grandchidren; 18 great-grandchildren and three great great-grandchildren.
The body may be viewed at the funeral home after 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon.
