She was the daughter of Green Tilman "Mac" and Mary Catherine (Thomason) Winn and married Robert G. Winn - 05 Oct 1890 - Douglas Co., Georgia. Her headstone states her date of death to be 15 July 1952, which is supported by information in her obituary; her death certificate states her date of death to be 16 Jul 1952. Her obituary follows:

Mrs. Emma McGuire Winn, 80, died at her home in the Flintville community Tuesday morning, following a stroke. She had been in ill health for some time. She was a daughter of the late Mac McGuire and Mary Thomas McGuire and a native of Georgia.

Funeral services were held Thursday morning at 10:30 at the Flintville Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Charles Gwathney, and Rev. Armstrong, with burial in Flintville Cemetery.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Warren Marty and Mrs. Tony Marty, both of Flintville; seven sons, U. L. and K. A. Winn, both of Flintville, Ralph Winn of Jonesboro, Georgia, R. G. and Boyd Winn, both of Manchester, Tennessee, E. Y. Winn of East Leroy, Michigan, and V. G. Winn of Jonesville, Michigan; several grandchildren and gerat-grandchildren.
