Maxine E. Mishler Adams Wright, 81, passed away Monday, June 29, 2009, at Alden Terrace in McHenry.
She was born Oct. 12, 1927, in Woodstock, to the late Frank and Clara Mishler.
She and her late husband, Victor Adams, owned and operated Vic's Tap in McHenry. She lived and resided in Auburn, Wash., with her late husband, Lemarre "Hedy" Wright, for more than 20 years.
She leaves behind many loved ones and friends.
She was the beloved wife of the late Lemarre Wright and the late Victor S. Adams; loving mother of Sharon (John C.) Geils, Bill Adams, and the late David "Dale" Adams; dear stepmother of Joy Wright, Sandra Wright, Cindy (Gordon) Pollard and the late John L. Wright; dear grandmother of Jennifer (Eddie) Miner, Jamie Geils and Ryan Geils; dear step-grandmother of many; dear sister of Dean (Betty) Mishler; fond aunt of many nieces and nephews; and great-grandmother of Noah Miner.
The visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 2, at Justen Funeral Home, 3700 W. Charles J. Miller Road, McHenry. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday, July 3, at the funeral home. Interment will be at McHenry County Memorial Park.
