She was the oldest of five children of Walter and Emily Abbott. She is preceded in death by her parents Walter and Emily Abbott, her husband Eugene Etter in 2010, two brothers Leonard and Dale Abbot and sister-in-law Ginger Abbott.
She was a 1937 Harrington High School graduate and attended a couple country schools before attending high school. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, crafts, gardening, pinochle and traveling and was a snow bird for many years. Celebration of Life Memorial service will be held on Friday, August 23, 2013 at 11:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church, Davenport, WA with Pastor Jim Stern, officiating. Family suggest memorials be made to the Zion Lutheran Church, Community Church of Ephrata or the Garden Oasis Assisted Living in Ephrata.
