Fourth child and daughter born to Janos Piller and Juliana Istenes Piller in Lokut, Veszprem, Hungary. Erzsebet came to America in 1901. Married 16 Feb 1904 to Joszef Sandor Rades in Cuyahoga County, Ohio. She gave birth to five children during this union. Three girls and two boys. Elizabeth was a strong maternal presence with her children and nieces and nephews. She was known as Aunt Lizzie. Although not the oldest daughter she became a "mother figure" for her siblings after their mother's death. Lizzie and Joe's family lived in Cuyahoga County, Ohio their entire life. They took in family members as boarders during this time. Using the garage as a living space for her brother Michael during his life. Having nieces and nephews live with the Rades family as they earned money to send home to their families. They lived in the Cleveland City area so they walked to the West Side Market for groceries, the children played on the High Rise Bridge as it was being built.
Her birthday listed on her death certificate is not the one her sister Katalin Piller Kiraly provide. The death certificate has a birth date of 25 Jan 1887.
