"Mona Jean, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Moran of Fillmore, was born April 30, 1933, and departed this life Sunday, January 7, at the Missouri Methodist Hospital in St Joseph.
Besides her parents, she is survived by two brothers, Irvin Dale and Lee Edward; two sisters, Evelyn Beatrice and Doris Nadine; her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Noah Moran, and Mr. and Mrs. Jake Proffit; also other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were conducted at the home by Rev. A. Vane Miller and the little darling was laid to rest in the Fillmore Cemetery." Savannah Reporter and Andrew County Democrat (Savannah, Missouri), January 12, 1934
