Hattie Leona Browning 1918 ~ 2006 Our loving mother and grandmother, Hattie Leona Bills Browning died at the age of 88 on August 8, 2006 at her home in Orem, Utah. She was born in Ucon, Idaho on June 12, 1918, the sixth of 10 children. She was married to Milon Matson Browning in the Salt Lake Temple on August 14, 1940. She was a teacher and a homemaker. She and her husband served in the Illinois Peoria Mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1985-86 and spent many years serving in the Temple. She is survived by one brother, Charles Bills, and two sisters, Lillian Lott and Bernice Swensen; five children, Jan Browning, Karen (Vern) Davis, DeAnne (Mark) Madsen, Kathleen (Stephen) Walston, and Pamela (Thomas) Mallory, 24 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and one granddaughter. Funeral services will be Saturday, August 12, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. at the Geneva Heights Stake Center, 546 North 500 West, Orem, Utah. A viewing will be held at the Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary, 495 South State Street, Orem, on Friday, August 11, from 6-8 p.m. and Sat. morning from 9:30-10:15 a.m. at the stake center. Interment will be in the Orem City Cemetery.
