The headstone is now considered missing. A photograph was requested, and the person who walked the cemetery stated that there is no stone. However, a photograph was obtained by another FAG contributor. This researcher did find some information from the 1930s where the U.S. Federal government's WPA program catalogued the cemeteries in Connecticut, the "Hale Cemetery Inscriptions." Timothy Baldwin's headstone was there on October 26, 1934. The comments stated that the stone was "down" and "difficult to read" and was in "very bad condition." The stone read: "Timothy Baldwin, died Nov. 29, 1772, aged 63 years. Also, he is buried in the "Old Baldwin Cemetery," which the WPA team distinguished from the "Baldwin Cemetery." There are only 7 interments in the Old Baldwin Cemetery.
