Death Takes Mrs. Harrell

Mrs. Bertha Harrell, 93, of 522 Monroe, Traverse City, died Wednesday noon at Grand Traverse Medical Care Facility after two months' illness.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Reynolds funeral home in Traverse City, Rev. Carl McDonald officiating, with burial in Oakwood cemetery.

Memorials may be directed to the First Christian Church Memorial Fund.

Mrs. Harrell, the former Bertha Kelly, was born August 11, 1877, in Indiana, the daughter of Anthony and Josina Kelly, had been a resident of Traverse City since 1910, and was a member of First Christian church.

On June 27, 1900, at Noblesville, Ind., she was married to Elmer Harrell, who died in 1957. Her parents, three brothers, and two sisters preceded her in death.

Surviving are: a son, Aaron of Muskegon; three daughters, Mrs. Letha Brotherton and Mrs. Opal Weiselberg of Traverse City and Mrs. Frances Husted of Musekegon; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Osie Henry of Denver, Colo., Edith Berg of Omalaska, Wash., and Susana Morris of Noblesville, Ind.
