Obituary 'Springfield Union' Nov 28, 1974, pg 68: "W.J. Manegre; Was Bus Driver; William J. Manegre, 58, of 1336 Allen St., Springfield, died Wednesday at the Medical Center of Western Massachusetts. He was a bus driver for 28 years with the Springfield Street Railway, and a member of the Amalgamated Transit Unionlocal 448. He leaves his wife, Catherine (Ganley) Manegre; one daughter, JoAnne Manegre at home; two brothers, and one sister. Funeral will be Saturday morning from the St. Pierre and Son Chapin Terrace funeral home, with a service in Holy Cross Church. Burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery."
