Henry F. Durst, 83, died Thursday evening in the Cuppett Nursing Home in Oakland where, he had been a patient two years. Born in New Germany on April 22, 1880, he was a son of the late Augustus and Nancy (McKenzie) Durst. Besides his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth (Miller) Durst, he is survived by three sons, Sylvan Durst, California; Dallas and Wayne Durst, both of Grantsville; three brothers, George Durst, Cumberland; Delbert and Marshall Durst, both of Grantsville, nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Mr. Durst was a life-long member of the Grantsville Methodist Church where a service will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. EST with Rev. Emory McGraw officiating. Interment will be in the New Germany Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Harold, Gideon, Glenn, Paul, William and Melvin Durst. The body is at the Newman Funeral Home and will be taken to the church at 12:30 p.m. tomorrow.
