August Durst, Garrett Co., brother of Mr. Lloyd Durst, of this place, met with a fatal accident Thursday. Mr. Durst was mending his roof, and while carrying up a bale of shingles, he accidentally slipped and fell to the ground, the heavy bale striking him on the head. The wound inflicted was so bad that the unfortunate man died two hours after the accident. Mr. Durst was buried at 10 o'clock this morning. The unfortunate man is well known here, having been a weekly caller in town on business, and his untimely death is mourned by a host of friends.
