"Cooter" as he was known to family and friends alike, loved living on the lake and visiting with his friends in Coleman park. He was an Honest man who believed "No on ever gives you anything you work for it", He worked his whole life and his life was short but full. He was married in the early 60's to Alene Defoor Hubbard of Burnsville they moved to Memphis and Divorced in the early 1970's. "Cooter then married Linda Starnes of Corinth they had two children Vicki Lynn and Ronnie William. His Daughter Vicki gave him four grandchildren Nickalous, Corbin, Richie and Danielle. "Cooter" and Linda bought a house in Slayden,Ms. In 1980 they divorced and three weeks later he married Alene again. They were married for twenty years until her death in 2000. In 2001 he married Elizabeth Bridges of Corinth they were married at his death in June 2005. "Cooter loved to laugh and play the gitaur" He is smiling down on us all everyday. Stationed at Fort Campbell Ky, during Vietnam, he reached (Spec 5) Status. In later years he suffered numerus operations including, two back surgeries, open heart surgery in 1985, anurysm surgery in 1996, bitarel coratid in his legs, a broke arm, almost lost his foot scalding a hog for fourth of july 1985, and cut part of his fingers off in a table saw. He died on Father's Day 2005 from an obstruction in the intestine.
