Funeral services for Lloyd Thompson will be conducted at 2 pm Tuesday, June 21 at the Northside Assembly of God Church. Rev. Olin Craig, Rev. Gamber, and Rev. C. B. Thomas will officiate. Interment will be in the Okmulgee Cemetery under the direction of Buchanan-Wise_McClendon Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Jay Beachel, Floyd Baldridge, Mack Wright, Bud Strange, John Baldridge, Charlie Arnold, Ed Coker, Paul Troglin, Bill Bradley, Carl Edmonds, Lawrence Howell, Carl Sorrells, Hershal Poe and Junior Branson. Mr. Thompson died June 18,1983, and was a retired employee of Ball, Inc. He was a member of the Northside Assembly of God Church, where he had served in different offices. He was a veteran of WW2, serving in the Army Air Corp. He served in the European Theater and was stationed in England. He married Edith Inez Humphrey Reynolds April 11, 1946. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Edith Thompson of the home, 1221 West 8th; two sons, Mike Thompson, Barto, Pa., and David Reynolds, Weleetka; two brothers, Floyd Thompson, a twin, and Harvey Thompson, both of Okmulgee; two sisters, Bertha Thompson, Okmulgee and Linnie Gorley, Madill, and five grandchildren.
