Clarence W Hollcraft, 97, a resident of Rosewalk Village, died at 4:07 AM Wednesday, December 6, in Home Hospital. He formerly lived at 1443 Adams Street. Born April 24, 1903, in Tippecanoe County, he was a life resident of this area. He married Ann Block on January 23, 1954, in West Lafayette, and she survives. She was employed in the payroll department at Alcoa. Mr Hollcraft was a shift foremen at Alcoa for 27 years and retired in 1966. He was a member of Congress Street United Methodist Church and was a 50-year member of Masonic Lodge 492. He also was a member of Scottish Rite, York Rite, Shrine Club and Merrou Grotto. Along with his wife, he is survived by two nephews, William and his wife Jane Buckles of Lafayette and John and his wife Judy Hollcraft of Nashua, NH; three nieces, Alice Scanlon of Clark’s Hill, Jane Blair of Marion, Cheryl Skinner of Ohio; and a sister-in-law, Arloa Hollcraft of Lafayette. He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister. Soller-Baker Funeral Home handled arrangements with burial at Concord Cemetery, Tippecanoe County, Memorials may be made to congress Street United Methodist Church., s the only immediate survivor.
