Omer G. Balmer
Omer G. Balmer died at his home in the Middle Creek Valley on Sunday, aged 27 years, 7 months and 15 days. Death was due to pneumonia. He is survived by his wife, Stella, nee Fry, and the following children: Annie, Alverta, Victor and Cletus. His parents, Allen and Mary Balmer, and his aged grandfather, Henry Grumbein, also survive and also the following brothers and sisters: Joseph, of Elm; Cletus, Millway; Mabel, wife of Christian High, Lititz, Raymond, Middle Creek; Abram, Helen, Allen and Anna Mary, with their parents in the same neighborhood. The funeral will be held from his late home Friday morning at 9:30 o'clock followed by services in the Brethren meeting house at Middle Creek at 10 o'clock. Interment will be made in the adjoining cemetery. Funeral Director H. M. Mellinger has charge.
