Frederick was the 9th child and 7th son born to William Elliott and Elizabeth (Case) Chappell. He married Mary E. Hadlock on 25 Sep., 1891 in Pike Co., In. I believe they had at least 2 sons : Hershell b. 1892 ; and Morris b. 1890 who are buried by them.
I have found more information from the 1900 & 1910 censuses. In 1900 they were in Pike Co., Jefferson Twp. and have sons : Hershell b. Feb., 1893 ; William D. b. Jun., 1896 ; and Stephen R. b. May, 1898. I had also written in middle names for all and I don't know where I found them. I have Mary Etta, Frederick Edward, Hershell Edward, William Delos, and Stephen Randolph. William Delos must be right, because he is listed as Delos in the 1910 census.
In the 1910 census, Mary has died and Fredrick is married to a Carrie E., has a step - daughter named Dorcina King, and they had been married for 2 years. Also Mary, her parents, and her daughter are all listed as born in Indiana. Frederick is listed as a lawyer in both censuses.
