She was the daughter of Arthur and Nancy (Moore) Sheffield and married Hugh Pressley Moore. Her obituary follows:


Last Rites Being Conducted At ARP Church For Mrs. Fannie S. Moore --


Mrs. Fannie Sheffield Moore, 73, died at the Lincoln County Hospital at 4 o'clock. She had been in declining health for more than a year, and the end came only about two hours after being taken to the hospital.


Funeral services are being held at the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church here at 2:30 o'clock this afternoon by the pastor, the Rev. J. G. Braley, with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery.


She is survived by one son, Lawrence Sheffield of Birmingham, Alabama; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Greer McCalla of Memphis, Mrs. Sam Jobe and Mrs. Will Tipps, both of Fayetteville; and brother, Raymond Sheffield of Memphis; one sister, Mrs. Olivia McFerrin of Fayetteville.
