Mrs. Fondren died Thursday morning in a Monroe hospital following a brief illness. She had been a resident of Madison Parish for the past 25 years and was a member of the Baptist Church.
Mrs. Fondren is survived by six sons, Robert Fondren, Bessemer, Alabama; Fred, Adrian, Teck, and Albert Fondren, all of Tallulah; and Willie Fondren, New Iberia, Louisiana; one daughter, Mrs. Lerline Cummins, Tallulah; 20 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and four sisters, Mrs. D. Minyard, Eupora, Mississippi, and Mrs. Ora Cole, Mrs. Margie Finley and and Mrs. Ruth Murray, all of Cleveland, Mississippi.
